Aaron Seligman & Jonathan Achtman
The Cardboardbox Project, incorporated in 2007, is owned and operated by Aaron Seligman and Jonathan Achtman.
Aaron Seligman has 8 years experience managing music merchandise, including design and production in North America and Europe. His specialization includes product development and procurement, art direction, in-tour management and sales, and Artist Relations. Clients include Stars, Arcade Fire, Feist, Wolf Parade, Joseph Arthur, Patrick Watson, The Dears, Handsome Furs, Swans, Land of Talk, Young Galaxy, Wintersleep, POP Montreal, and Le Festival Juste Pour Rire.
Jonathan Achtman accumulated 7 years of retail experience at the Aldo Group specializing in merchandise planning, inventory management systems, buying, international business development and business strategy. Over the last 5 years at The Cardboardbox Project, he has designed the systems that handle touring sales, inventory and logistics in addition to online sales.
Accounting & Administration
Laura is a former touring musician (Pony Up, The Dears) with close to 10 years of first-hand merchandise management experience. She has also worked in administration and accounting for music retailers, record labels and touring bands for 5 years, specializing in tour reconciliation and year-end tax preparation. She has worked at The Cardboardbox Project since 2008, helping to establish and manage their accounting systems and handle day-to-day administration.
Alex joined The Cardboardbox Project in the summer of 2011 to help manage day-to-day operations in Montreal. In October 2014 he moved to Boston to set up and run The CBP’s new US-based operation out of Charlestown, MA. He can still be found playing a role in all parts CBP, specializing in online store/product creation, store management and sales analysis, tour reconciliation, and assisting with internal systems and operations
Online Store Management
Former Captain and current Alternate Captain of The Flying Dutchmen (Ball) Hockey Club, David Wheaton has been working at The Cardboardbox Project since November, 2010. Hailing from Riverview, New Brunswick, David has 7 years retail experience in books and music, which he brings to his position managing the various online stores. Dave is greatly pleased to be working with the team at The Cardboardbox Project, except for the fact that Sinbad has left the building.

Derek is a multidisciplinary artist from Vancouver Island. After working at a design and sculpture studio for 3 years specializing in public art installations, he moved to Montreal to complete his fine arts degree. Now specializing in graphic design, illustration and serigraphy, Derek has taken his talents to The Cardboardbox Project, and found a new island to call home.

Sinbad Richardson – Vienna Pitts Creative
Sinbad manages our website and social media accounts. He’s also responsible for creating all our hilarious, and thrilling video content. Under the handle Vienna Pitts, Sinbad freelances as an animator, web designer, music video maker and works on his own animated cartoon: Jenny 5000.
